How does Enrichment handle personal emails?
While we do return data for personal emails, Clearbit is focused on B2B data making coverage for corporate emails significantly higher. Generally, you can expect the best matches with personal emails to be with @gmail.com addresses.
If we are able to make a connection between a personal email address and that individual's place of employment, we will also be able to return company data.
Test Match Rates
If you're curious about the results we can provide, we recommend running a test with our Batch Enrichment tool to get an understanding of coverage. Batch allows you to upload a list of emails or domains and download an enriched list of people or companies respectively. Before purchasing, Batch will show you a Match Rate Report free of charge.
Providers We Do Not Support
Personal email providers Clearbit does not support include @mail.ru and @qq.com.
