Company Hierarchy & Parent Domains
The Enrichment attribute parent domain shows the domain name of a companies parent organization. This attribute will only be populated if the company in question has been acquired or is majority owned by the parent.
For example, when enriching whatsapp.com, facebook.com will be returned as the parent domain.
Knowing a the parent domain is useful for account mapping, lead routing, lead assignment, and reporting.
Let's say a new lead comes into your CRM from `trello.com`, but you have an existing deal with `atlassian.com` (their parent company). You may want to route that lead to the `atlassian.com` account owner vs. assigning them to a new rep.
