Embedding

To embed a form in your website, head to the Embed tab of your form, and copy/paste the form's embed code straight into the page you want the form on.

Please ensure the code is between the <body></body> tags.

Overlay

If you'd rather the form appeared on a modal overlay, then select the OVERLAY CODE tab and copy/paste that embed code.

When any element with a class of clearbit-overlay gets clicked, we'll show the modal overlay.

Navigating Onwards

By default, the form will just display a friendly Thank you! once it's submitted. You can customize the success message, and also an optional URL for the user to be redirected to upon completion (an Action URL).

Please ensure the Action URL is an absolute url (i.e. including http…) rather than a relative one.

Fallback Form

You may want to be prepared for the unlikely event that Clearbit X goes down or is un-responsive. While we strive for 100% uptime it's always good to have a backup plan.

You can specify a Fallback form URL to be displayed when Clearbit X isn't working. We suggest using Google Forms to collect lead information. Simply paste the URL of the Google Form in the Fallback form URL setting.

It's worth noting that this will change the embed code, so you'll need to update that on your website.

Customizing The Form

We've tried to make our Forms as pretty as possible from the get-go, but you may want to customize the form to your websites theme. You can do this fairly easily by setting the form's Theme to None in the JS snippet and then theming the form with the CSS classes provided (simply inspect the form in your browser to see which class hooks we provide.

It's worth noting that this will change the embed code, so you'll need to update that on your website.
