Clearbit for Salesforce: Prospector Troubleshooting Guide

If you are having issues getting Prospector to work, follow each of the recommended troubleshooting steps below.

 

Make sure the affected user has permission to use Prospector.

  1. Go to the Clearbit Settings tab > Account.
  2. Find the affected user in the list.
  3. Make sure both the Permission Set and Prospector boxes are checked.

Both of these checkboxes are required to access Prospector. If they are not checked, then a user will not have permission to use the tool.

 

Make sure the affected user has Prospector credits available.

  1. Go to the Clearbit Settings tab > Account Manage Prospector Credits.
  2. Find the affected user in the list.
  3. Click Edit quota.
  4. Assign the desired number of credits under the Credit quota column.
  5. Click Save changes.
