Legacy: Troubleshoot Prospector for Salesforce

📝  Please note: Many of the steps below assume you are using Salesforce Classic. If you are using Lightning Experience, you may find some settings in slightly different places, particularly those related to account/lead/contact/etc. objects.

Make sure the affected user has permission to use Prospector.

  1. Go to the Clearbit Settings tab, and click Account.
  2. Find the affected user in the list.
  3. Make sure both the Permission Set and Prospector boxes are checked. Both of these checkboxes are required to access Prospector. If they are not checked, then a user will not have permission to use the tool.

Make sure the affected user has Prospector credits available.

  1. Go to the Clearbit Settings tab > Account Manage Prospector Credits.
  2. Find the affected user in the list.
  3. Click Edit quota.
  4. Assign the desired number of credits under the Credit quota column.
  5. Click Save changes.
