Legacy: Integrate Clearbit with Zapier

With Clearbit and Zapier, you can build workflows that enrich inbound leads, trigger emails and tweets, compile robust spreadsheets, and collect all kinds of useful data. Each automation (called a Zap) has one app as the Trigger, where your information comes from and which causes one or more Actions in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically. You'll find our most common automations here.

How to Set Up the Zapier Integration

  1. Connect the app where your contact information resides - a database, CRM, email list, etc. This is your Trigger app—the app that kicks off the automation.
  2. Connect your Clearbit account. You’ll get a pop-up prompting you to sign in to your Clearbit account. This lets Zapier link your Clearbit account to the other apps you choose. You'll need your Clearbit API key, which you can find on your Settings page.

  3. Map the data from your Trigger app that you want Zapier to enrich via Clearbit. In this example, we have an email address in Intercom that we want to enrich with Clearbit data.

  4. Send that enriched data to another app. In this example, we're sending it back to Intercom, to update an existing Intercom contact with the enriched Clearbit data.
