Legacy Managed Package: Set Up Enrichment Widget and Social Bar for Attributes in Clearbit's Legacy Salesforce Integration

Last Updated: January 12, 2024

šŸ” Please note: this article is for customers on Standard Bundle, Enrichment, or Clearbit Platform plans.

The Enrichment Widget is a great way to see actionable data points, with person attributes displayed on the left and company attributes on the right. We recommend for the widget to be set up on all three object types. The good news is that once you (the team's System Admin) have done so, the widget will become accessible to all users with Clearbit licenses.

šŸ“ Please note: Widgets are not required for Clearbit to auto-write into blank standard fields, enrich custom Clearbit objects in the background, or map Clearbit data to your Leads, Contacts, or Accounts. Moreover, this feature is only available for Salesforce Lightning; it is not available for Salesforce Classic.Ā

Skip Ahead to:

Activate the New Trusted Site for the Lightning Components

An administrator must activate the new Trusted Site for the Lightning components to function. New installs of v12.0 will automatically include these trusted sites. Trusted Sites are required for Lightning components to access internet services. To adhere to secure by design principles a trusted site has to be activated so that Lightning Components can speak to the Clearbit API. Itā€™s the same thing as a remote site but we have to do the same thing for Lightning Locker Service and connect to Lightning Labels

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. In the quick find box,Ā  search for CSP.
  3. Click Edit next to the Clearbit Trusted Site.
  4. Check the Active box so that Clearbit is active as a trusted site.
  5. Check all the boxes under CSP Directives.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat for ClearbitSubdomain
