Clearbit Connect is a free Chrome extension that helps you reach real people at the right companies. After installing the extension, you can find verified emails from qualified companies directly within Gmail or as you research your prospects' websites.
Connect is the only prospecting extension that can instantly identify which companies fit your ideal customer profile (ICP). Every Connect user receives 10 free credits per month. A credit is spent each time an email is revealed within the extension. You can check your credit usage at any time in your Connect settings.

Is Clearbit Connect free?
Yes, every Connect user receives 10 free credits per month. Users can also consider additional paid features such as Clearbit Capture to automatically add accounts and key buyer contacts to your CRM from qualified companies that show intent.
How does Connect work?
As you browse the web, Connect reviews each domain visited to check if they match your ideal customer profile. If there is a match, the extension button will change colors.

To review the company’s information, click the Connect widget. You can review information such as number of employees, funding, and more.

To review a list of people working at the company, click the People tab To retrieve the email addresses of these individuals, click the Name of the person., This will use one of your 10 monthly credits.
Within Gmail, the extension will provide context on the person you are currently emailing. You can also search for companies and contacts in Gmail.
How many free credits does Connect offer?
Every Connect user receives 10 free credits per month. Credits are refreshed monthly on the same calendar day as your sign-up. A credit is spent every time an email is revealed within the extension. You can check your credit usage at any time in your Connect settings.
Is there a way to earn more free credits?
It's great to hear you're interested in additional credits. At this time there is not a way to increase your amount of credits.
Does Connect see or store my personal data?
As part of the set-up and usage of Connect, Clearbit collects three types of data:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as name and email when you create an account via signing up with Google.
- Location data by way of IP address again when you create an account via signing up with Google.

Web history by way of collecting URLs in order to provide enriched company data based on those URLs Clearbit does not associate web history data with you as a user.
Clearbit also requires access to your personal communications as the software enriches email addresses within Gmail.
